Grandma’s Hand
There are times when I’m going through some things that I just can’t find the answers that I’m looking for. In those times I would turned to my grandma. Because she had all the right answers. Today is one of those days I wish I could talk to her. Thankfully, she taught the importance of prayer.

I am amaze how many times I heard people say how they want to be in love with that special someone. But, they are a little scare about putting their feelings out there. Love is about taking chances. You will never find love if you are not willing to take your heart out of it’s secret hiding place. Take your heart out for a walk. You will never know what you may find.

I have this ex and we keep playing this crazy ass game. I could pick one song to describe the last three years. This would be it.
Summertime In The Chi
If I had it my way. I would only live in Chicago during the months of April through October. The city is so alive during these months.
Leave It All Behind
Some many of us are living in our past. You must understand that living in your past is kinda like cancer. It slowly eats away at your soul day by day. Eventually killing your spirit. The sad truth is people are going to hurt at any given time throughout your life. So, it’s up to you to forgive and move on. It’s a lesson I learned recently. So, today decide on where you are going to live. In your past, where you are hurt and miserable. Your present where you have the ability to make the current change your life needs. Or you can start planning your future, where the opportunities are endless. Whatever you decide realize all final decisions are made by you. Enjoy your day. ~ K
