Late Nite Thoughts #4 (Regine Says “I Am A Man Whore”)

My friend Regine told me I should write about my adventures of being an ex man ho. But, what she don’t is…I can spot a Jedi Mind Trick a mile away. HA!  She will just have to wait for the play called “I Don’t Wanna Be A Man Ho No More” to find out about my past.  But, seriously, I wasn’t really a ho. I just had whorish ways. I love women and once had a problem with being with just one. But, as I grew older and begin to see life differently. I figure out that sex was not a sport and women were not trophies.  I realize I needed to change my ways.  I will never apologize about my old ways. Because my past is what made me the man I am today.

Strippers

A lot of nay-sayers will tell you that strippers are merely in the game for the money, and that their motives are purely mercenary. This is pure bullshit. Strippers are simply looking for true love. Sure, they make a little money on the side, but the fact remains that they are waiting for Mr. Right to walk through that heavily-guarded door at 3:00 AM. As such, if you are lucky enough to find yourself engaged in a conversation with a stripper who shows signs of being interested in you and what you have to say, do not waste this rare opportunity! She really likes you. In order to show her that you feel the same, be sure to shower her with money (tip her for dances, buy her shots, offer to fund her ongoing education as a nail tech). You’d be amazed at how many nail tech-in-training there are in strip clubs, all of whom have been waiting for a guy like you. And if your friends try to drag you out of there, remember that they just don’t understand what true love is. They are not true friends. Bastards.

I love you “Baby” ~ K

Baggage by Keith Harris

The reason that many of our relationship don’t work is because of previous baggage from other relationships. We tend to carry all the hurt and pain into new relationships. I’m just not talking about love. It can vary from a new job ot any situation that can change our lives. I must admit I am guilty of bringing my own baggage in new situations. So, today I decided to throw all the baggage away. Here’s the plan. I am going to write down the names and things that are holding me back on small pieces of paper. Then I’m going to take each sheet of paper and I am going to ball them up and dispose of them. I think I am going to toss them into a small body of water (The toilet ) so they can float away. Hopefully that will solve all my problems. But seriously, before we start any new relationship. We have to open to change. We must leave behind certain things and feelings. So we can be open to receive the blessings that are in front of us. Chances are we might end up hurt from this new experience. But the feeling that you started something new with an open heart and mind. Is a good feeling. Enjoy your day. ~ K

Ten Things I Want My Son To Know

1) Prayer: You must make time for prayer. Prayer will help you in your darkest moments.

2) Money: Learn how to manage it. So far you are doing a pretty good job. But, remember to always put a little away for a rainy day. BTW, can I borrow $20 until next week. J/K

3) Lust: Lust has gotten me in some tricky situations in my lifetime. Never let the little head control the big head. Sex isn’t a sport and women are not trophies.

4) People: Never deal with people who will kill your dreams and ruin your life. Stay away from people that will get you in trouble.

5) Actions: Be quick to hear and slow to speak. Know when to talk and when to listen. This will get you so far in life. I learn this lesson the hard way.

6) Love: Never tell anyone you love them unless you truly mean it.

7) Disappointment: Know how to respond when people let you down. That’s includes me.

8)  Wealth: Work on building your wealth in heaven instead on Earth. You can’t take material things with you when it’s time to go home.

9) Respect: Give women the same respect that you would want someone to give your Mom, Sisters and your Nieces.

10) Me: I love you so much. You are my best friend. I’m proud to see you becoming a man. I remember when I was going through the divorce. You told me that you was going to ride out the storm with me and everything was going to be okay. Because we had each and that’s all we needed. You even went as far as trying to sell your video games to help me pay bills during that time. You have always had my back. I could never thank you enough for being there for me. You are an incredible young man and the best is yet to come. I love you. – Dad

Still Waters

Take some water, place it in a bowl and watch it for about ten minutes. Notice how the still water doesn’t move. It doesn’t flows anywhere. It just sits there doing nothing. But take that same bowl of water and pour into a stream and it moves. It flows freely to some unknown destination. It becomes a part of something great. Sometimes in life we become still. We become that water in the bowl. We may feel that we have no way out of a certain situation. So, we just sit there hoping for the best. While life and opportunities are passing us by. I must admit I am guilty of it from time to time. It takes courage, strength and faith to move outside that bowl. You must continue on no matter how hopeless things may seem. Because standing still is the worst thing you can ever do. So, when you feel like you are not moving anywhere. Take a minute and pray for direction. Soon you will be guided towards your own stream. Enjoy your day. ~ K
